IP SLA udp-jitter best practices

For those of you who use IP SLA udp-jitter, what have you found to be "best-practice" values for interval, number of packets and frequency? Been looking through different stuff but haven't found many production recommendations.
Cisco was my first networking love, but my "other" router is a Mikrotik...
