Hi
First I hope I'm in the correct forum for my question,*apologies if not.
Second this is my first post on this amazing forum. The reason for this is anytime I did a search I usually found my answer without the need to ask but this one is a little different.
I have two questions really but to keep things simple I'll post separately.
I have an old 1701 which is not modular BUT i managed to get the old WIC1B S/T card out and thought wouldn't it be nice if i could slip in a WIC 1T or WIC 2A/S and set up a nice quiet router with a serial connection to work on in my lab.
Both WICs fit in nicely and router boots as normal but can't pick up the new serial and to be honest i wasn't really expecting it to work straight of the bat like that but I'm wondering is it possible with a tweak here and there to make this happen? I'm not beside my lab right now but the IOS is pretty current, its a 2008 k9.
So, What do you think?
