AlternativeTo - Alternatives To The Applications You Want To Replace I'm probably behind on finding out about this website, but I figured I'd post it anyways.

I had not seen that before! Thanks for the post.
Another one I want to make sure people know about is a nice project on CodePlex called VirtualRouter. It turns your Windows 7 or Server 2008 system into a hot spot. It's written in C# and I think looking at the code is a really good way to get to understand networking on a new level. I also suggest looking at the source for LOIC on SourceForge. That's been in the news due to Anonymous's attacks on the DoJ. If you are interested in networking/programming/security then these are some good projects to look into.

I have heard that LOIC does get flagged by some security tools (MS Sec Essentials), so keep that in mind. -

I like softpedia.com; I used to use cnet in the past but I stay away from them now. Fydor was pissed that cnet was sending out nmap with additional software. No telling what they are doing now.Passed LOT2Working on FMV2(CHFI v8 ) Done!
