I was curious, has anyone here had a job as a fellow(technical fellow, research fellow..)? Any thoughts on that type of position and where one might go from such a position?

"Fellow" is usually an Academic position.
Although this may be closer to what you're looking for:

In which case you probably have a long long ways to go before being qualified.

Thanks. This is a technical fellow position. I just had a first interview for it yesterday. Was curious if anyone here has done such a position and where they have moved onto afterwards. I am hoping to swing it into a upper management type position.
