At long last, 685 pass!

Well, I have a long and sorrowful tale about Windows 7, starting with the first failure when the 682 was only a week old (had a free re-take, took the exam with only 680 knowledge), failing the re-take (crammed for a month on 685 material, forgot all the 680 stuff lol), 3 months later failing again (came up *just* shy on both areas). Decided then that since only 685 was required for work, I'd stop banging my head against that wall, and focussed entirely on the 685.. Failed THAT by maybe 1 or 2 questions! ARGHHH..
Finally got 860 today, and I think if anyone asks me a Win 7 related question in the next little while, I may just punch them in the nose.
Never had the testlets at the end before, it felt like a bonus round or final Jeopardy or something. The exam seemed to be updated from the last time, but thankfully I completely over-prepared myself and limited the amount of errors.. I'm sure I'd smack my forehead if I could see what I missed..
Time for a break and it's back to the 2008 SA

Congrats on your pass! I also was flip flopping between the 680/685 and now thinking of just jumping into the 640 lol. What did you use to study?Currently studying for 70-640 :study: -

oops, sorry for the delay. Took a break from here after posting, to clear my head and deal with family things ..
Primary was the MS self paced book, had read it when it first came out, pored over that again this last time to hammer home concepts like BranchCache modes etc that I may have flubbed the first times.. Went through Germanicus' post on 685 resources and links to technet, and branched out from the pages there, and when I felt I had all that clear, I did several test exams on uCertify's PrepEngine, getting my marks high and stopping before I felt like I was just memorizing rather than solving..
Onto 646.. I can't believe I passed 640 and 642 both on my first try, but this little bastrd of a test took so long
