undomiel Member Posts: 2,818Have you looked at this KB article? FIX: Error message when you use the New-MoveRequest task to move a mailbox from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010: "Error: MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make connection to the server. (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227)" It may be applicable to your setup. If not then I'd be checking on name resolution. Is the 2007 server able to resolve the mailbox servers by both netbios and fqdn?Jumping on the IT blogging band wagon -- http://www.jefferyland.com/

Everyone Member Posts: 1,661Sounds like they aren't talking to each other. Start at the ISA2006. By default the port range for RPC connections is pretty high and wide, not to mention dynamic.
