Keep the cameras on their own network that are NOT accessible from the internet, or at least not directly accessible. If you really must have remote access to them, lock it down to a single PC with access, VPN in and connect to that PC. -

The white plane in the middle is Global Hawk (UAV)... The camera controls aren't locked, I can zoom in on it, but can't read the markings on the plane. -
