hi
I've passed 70-270 this morning with 889 points.
I had some difficult with bluetooth,sp2 and dhcp questions (because they weren't clearly).
I'm going on to 70-29x next month

Congrats, how much time, do you estimate, what it would it take, to prepare for the 70-270 exam? -

hi,
I studied 270 for 1 month, but I had 3 years working with XP.
I think 270 is not the easiest MCP exam, because it's the first core MCP that we have to pass...uhm,the begining is always difficult.

Passed mine today too with 778 i was hoping to score 900+ but i did find this a difficult exam.
the first 10-15 questions were install related there was a bluetooth and several windows firewall questions in there. some of the questions where long and not clear especially the networking ones which is something i consider myself to be good at yet i did poor at in the exam.
i think i must have also had about 4 questions relating to remote access and authentication protocols / encrypting password etc
I did alot of practice exams which mostly came out at around 90% this is why i was a bit disapointed in my score

i also setup a client / server network with XP pro and 2003 server on virtual pc 2004. This i would recommend if you don't have the hands on experience like me. It will allow you to prctice installs quicker without having to have multiple machines as well as other stuff.
