Profile/Summary portion of resume

Looking to add a profile or summary section to my resume (to replace/combine the qualifications & objective). I have 6-7 years of Desktop Support experience and looking to move into a role that combines Desktop Support & possibly some Jr. System Admin duties. Should I express those plans/hopes in my summary? And if so, how?

I don't find it neasecary to add your plans to the summary. Your plan is to get the job they are hiring for. That's pretty obvious by your resume being in front of them. I've seen some people add what their career goals are, but I don't add anything like that to mine and personally dont feel it's needed.
