these have been around for a little while, but its heavily IOS-XR.

don't know anyone who has an IOS-XR router sitting around at home

I am about to be neck deep in IOS XR as we are rolling out cellular site routers and aggregation routers. In the design meeting with Cisco it has been confirmed, all IOS XR.
