Mouse Pointer colour when using tsclient / rdesktop on RHEL

I am running RHEL on one of my laptops (works perfectly on a T61 I must say) but when RDP'ing to a server the mouse pointer is black. With most server having a rather dark background, it is hard to "find" the pointer.

Is there a way to change this at all ?

On a second note, anyone know how to enable the trackpad 'mouse click' ?
