One of you is right! As far as which one... let's just say I've been doing an awful lot of work with ipv6 in prep for ipv6 day. We've committed to bringing native ipv6 to 2 million customers by then, and my division is responsible for a quarter of that. If you get service through my company, and you're in the Chicago market, chances are you have native ipv6 and don't even realize it. -

Pretty much, have been for years. The company has been pushing ipv6 for years, but there have been some CMTS bugs with ipv6 and upstream channel bonding that have held it up. Vendors finally got their code straight, so we've been upgrading the boxes and enabling ipv6 on a market by market basis. I've been heavily involved in the Chicago and South Florida deployments since I came on in January. They were delighted to finally have another engineer who was not only not scared of ipv6, but actually understood how to deploy and troubleshoot it hehe -
