Business IT Management vs IT Security

Hi everyone,
I posted this message a few days ago in the WGU thread, but it may be better suited for a general discussion instead. For the past few days, I've been reading through the wealth of information in this thread. I enrolled in the BS Business IT Management degree path, but I am also considering the BS IT Security. I have my intake interview next week. Both paths appeal to me, however, I feel I may have more affinity toward the IT - Security program. I would enjoy working on the certificates more than on business-related courses.
What holds me back are a couple of courses (Finite Math), as Math is definitely not my strong suit. I was wondering whether some of you may have some insight to help me make my decision. I realize Math is also an important subject in many certifications.
Thank you in advance.
