Route Summary Question

Quick question guys, im reading the Todd lammle 7th edition and i am doing some questions at the end of the route summary question's basically everywhere is suggesting the the answer in the book is wrong but i just want to double check that we all get the same answer.

Basically the question is this.

For each of the following sets of networks, determine the summary address and the mask that will be used to summarize the subnets:

Question 1 - 172.148.0.0/13 through to 172.156.0.0./13


Question 2 - 203.168.6.0/24 though to 208.163.60.0/24



Question 1 Answer - Answer in book is 172.144.0.0/16 i got 172.144.0.0/12

Question 2 Answer - Answer in book 192.168.96.0 with 255.255.240.0 i got 203.168.0.0/18



Dunno where im going wrong or the books going wrong.

I'm at the same part of the book as you and I also got 172.144.0.0/12 for my answer to question 1

I just found this in the errata section on lammle's forum

11. Written lab 5, page 198:
question #2 should be 172.144.0.0 through 172.159.0.0. Answer should be 172.144.0.0 255.240.0.0
question #4 should be 192.168.96.0 through 192.168.111.0
Answer #5 should be 66.66.0.0 255.255.240.0
Answer #6 should be 192.168.0.0/17
Answer #7 should be 172.16.0.0/21

Awh thank you so much, i have spent the last 2 days trying to work this out!

Now i can practice so questions, do you have any useful links where i can get some practice route summary questions and answers?
