Security+ can be applied as an elective towards the
MCSA
and
MCSE
on Windows Server 2003. The term MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional - is earned when you take your first Microsoft certification test, it's simply a generic designation and isn't test-specific.
Current Microsoft certifications
don't allow you to use any third-party vendor's exams towards certification, however.
