Hi everyone!
I'm currently studying a copyrighted 2008 MCTS Self-paced Training Kit Book: Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory and practicing on 2 virtual machines with Windows 2008 Standard installed (non R2).
I was wondering if this is not a good idea and if I should update my book to the latest edition and practice on a R2 Windows 2008 build? Thank you in advance!

While MS did release a free "What's new in R2" PDF that covers most of the differences, you'll still risk failing if you do not use a comprehensive R2 study guide. Pick up the 2nd Edition of the MS Press book and upgrade your practice questions as well.
