I would start off with a Microsoft self paced Study book. If you have no experience I would look at 70-640 (This is the exam code) Also check out the stickes on this forum there very good.

I'm currently studying for my MCITP in Server Administration. I'm first taking the 70-642 exam since it deals with networking more and I have lots of experience with BIND DNS servers.

The following is my list of study materials:

    CBT Nuggets
    ITFreeTraining.com (real good series)
MCTS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Complete Study Guide
    Windows 2008 Server R2 Unleashed

    Good luck.

Sybex books are really good. Testout LabSim is another great resource. I was fortunate to have access to both via my studies at WGU. Best of luck in your studies.
