certificate is in inactive state

Hi,

Myjncis-er is in inactive state, can i take JNCIP-ENT? and also my JNCIA-M/T is in inactive state, can i take JNCIS-SP exam?
Please let me know.

    If you have a certification in the "inactive" state, then you can still use it to obtain the certification of the next level in that track. For example, my JNCIE-ER went into the inactive state last year, I waited a couple of months and took the JNCIP-ENT to recent it to the JNCIE-ENT.

    Sooo, as long as you take the required exam(s) before your certification(s) expire, you should be fine.
