WGU-MSISA Mentor Question

I have a Mentor who takes at least 2 days to return an email, 2 days to return a phone call, and is always 20-30 minutes late when calling for our weekly Bull Sh!t chat. I am sick of this crap. I knew when I started my term I should have requested a new Mentor..(another story)...I just felt I should give the person a chance...well I am over it now. If anyone else in this program has a good mentor they would recommend I would really appreciate it. You can PM me their name if you don't want to put it in the thread. Sorry about the rant, but geez I am about to go crazy or slam back a shot or two of Jack Daniels(and it is to early to do that)icon_twisted.gif

You need to call student services and request a new mentor. I have Connie Ozmer as my mentor for the B.S. degree. She is great, always on time, too.

    It's 5:00 pm someplace. :D
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Tony M. isn't too bad. I had some initial frustrations with him but he has turned out to be a pretty decent mentor. Usually very quick at replying.

Does anyone know if you keep the same mentor from B.S. to M.S. programs?

Yes, you can. I asked mine and she said you could request a specific mentor. It would definitely make it easier, having already been through a year or two with them.

Thanks for the recommendations. I am going to do something today. I was supposed to have had my weekly scheduled call yesterday....My mentor never called, emailed or anything.....this is just ridiculous....I am sure they are overworked, but still...

The masters mentors are different than the BS mentors. I can already tell my mentor and me might not hit off very well. He will have 90+ students on Tuesday. I asked for PDF of the COS for my first 3 classes and got denied, my BS mentor would of done it in a heart beat. Oh well... I'm hoping to be done in 2 terms.

I have Pubali, so far so good. Once I completed the orientation I was able to get to the COS for all my classes (including saving as PDF) except TFT2. MY mentor said TFT2 is changing slightly and the new COS is released on the first, hence I couldn't get to it yet.
