    Not terribly surprising. Cisco is actually pretty heavily investing in it's 10k CMTS platform, and cable as a delivery medium isn't going away anytime soon. All the opinions about cable being a dying medium due to slow speeds was proved to be BS after Comcast proved it can do gig speeds over HFC.
