D-Day: ROUTE + TSHOOT tomorrow!

in CCNP
I've scheduled both my TSHOOT and ROUTE exams for tomorrow! I'm going to watch the CCNP TSHOOT CBT Nuggets series at 2x speed this evening ($25 one-day pass), and if all goes well, tomorrow evening I'll have those nifty CCNP letters next to my name.
(I have little respect for the TSHOOT. It looks like a glorified review of the other subjects.)
(If all doesn't go so well, this will end up being a great practice exam!)

I needed a nap after my ROUTE exam. I can't imagine jumping right on the TSHOOT.
I wish you the best.
but i guess two cisco exams on one day would be too hard for me
Aha!
Good idea.
I actually liked the TSHOOT exam. I thought it was fun.

Good Luck man, If I had a big set of packets like yours, then I would have thrown TSHOOT in with my SWITCH exam tomorrow, but I'm taking the slow steady route...I'm sure you'll knock it out of the park!
Did you take a break between the exams or just kept on rolling? And how long did you take for both?
Way to go.
CCNP ROUTE - passed 20/3/12
CCNP SWITCH - passed 25/10/12
CCNP TSHOOT - passed 11/12/12
Made me think of Borat with that post. "Great Success....I am CCNP..yes?" Congrats, you must have blown through ROUTE, I was like SharkDiver afterwards...in the packet decompression chamber.
Thoughts on ROUTE and TSHOOT?

5 hours, including the break, surveys, etc.
1. TSHOOT is straight-forward if you remember the ROUTE and SWITCH material. My advice: (a) spend a few hours reviewing the exam topology (on Cisco's exam website) and technologies. It will save you time on the exam. (b) The show output of the sims is buggy and contains errors, so double-check anything "fishy" you see. (c) Be sure you're answering the ticket you think!
2. ROUTE - I'm found the Cisco Press ROUTE Foundation Learning Guide combined with the Cisco ROUTE labs to cover the material completely and provide adequate practice. I did not feel multiple books were necessary to grasp the material. I felt 101 CCNP Labs (only did a few) focused on many details and material not required for the actual exam--a waste of time for me.
IOU or GNS3 are adequate for preparation. Spending time/money to setup a real lab is inefficient from the perspective of mastering the material in the texts for this exam and/or passing the exam as quickly as possible.
