Dell Switches
I have a Dell switch that I consoled in through Putty. I am positive it is running unmanaged. It is a 3500 series POE. There is no password and no hostname. The only thing I need is its IP address. I used the help ? command and it wouldn't recognize show ip. I did get it to show system but the output locked up the prompt on me. I gave up and I tried to restart putty. Putty could not open my com port and it didn't work thereafter.
What have I done wrong?

Krunchi Member Posts: 237Here this should point you in the right direction. I did notice you said you were using Putty you might try using IE/Chrome/Firefox for the Browser configuration and see if that works if so then it's a Terminal setting that needs to be adjusted.
