70-685 in 2 days, April 5th

Going for my MCITP for Windows7 Desktop support. Passed my 680 last month, going for 2nd MS cert. Been studying the MS Press and watched CBT nuggets vids. Hopefully I can pass then concentrate on server 2008 Admin. Will keep you guys updated. Any advise from anyone that passed?

Didn't pass, got a 647. So disappointed in myself, there were some questions that I never seen at all during studying. A lot of Active Directory user log on issues that I completely missed on on. I need to study more on group policy and go through and read every one and know em. And I need to master event viewer and know all setup including command line config. After looking at my test I did bad on Identify Cause and Resolving Network Issues & Managing and Maintaining Systems that Run Windows 7. Those 2 category represented 44% of test score. Already getting voucher and going to schedule for April 10th. Going to study my butt off on those 2 categories and hopefully get a passing score. I felt so confident I was going to pass towards the end of test.

I rescheduled the test for the 12th instead, wanted to get more studying in. Typing my own set of notes, took alot info for event viewer and gropu policy settings and internet explorer policies also. Hopefully I will knock it out

Didn't pass again

. Got a lower score than before 577. Did horrible in Resolving Network Issues, score lower in that area than before and then score much lower in Resolving Desktop Issues. I know I messed up on when to use flushdns vs. registerdns vs host file when cant find DNS server. Just cant believe I failed again, and I felt so good half way through. The last 10-15 question killed me. I'm going to take it again in 2-3 weeks, going to take the weekend off and get back studying on Monday. I know I can pass this thing, just driving me crazy right now.

I'm really starting to reconsider the 685 and go with my original plan of going for the 640 on the way to SA. I still in disbelief I failed with a lower score than before. About 30 questions in I felt I was going to score in the 800's.

I had the same problem with the 685 half of the 70-682.

I'm going to have another go in a few months.
