not able to obtain globally routable IPv6 address
Has anyone seen/heard problems with IPv6 router-advertisements under JUNOS 10.4R9.2? If I check router advertisements for one certain interface ae0.10:
..then it's clearly visible that almost 5000 advertisements have been sent and last one was sent less than 4min ago. In addition, if I did "ifconfig eth0 down; ifconfig eth0 up" in the server, the server sent "router solicitation messages":
Now if I check from the server side using tcpdump, I can see that advertisement was indeed received:
However, server did not reply anything. ae0.10 has /64 globally routable IPv6 address present. What might cause this?
root@m10i> show ipv6 router-advertisement interface ae0.10 Interface: ae0.10 Advertisements sent: 4883, last sent 00:03:41 ago Solicits received: 14, last received 1w1d 05:21:45 ago Advertisements received: 0 root@m10i>
