Switch Latency cut through vs Store and forward.

Nice little video explaining the difference ways to measure switch latency, and also comparing the store and forward vs cut through latency for different packet sizes.

Up to packet sizes of >1024 bytes, there is very little difference in performance, even at 1500bytes (ethernet standard MTU) the latency of both methods is below 2 microseconds.
