I haven't taken it, but I will be later this year when I enroll

. I'm curious though...what exactly did they give you to study for it?

I have access to the Microsoft Text via etext and Ucertify. I started reviewing this today and decided to schedule the exam for next week. Just curious what other have thought of the exam. The Security exam was very easy. Networking was moderate.

Took the exam today and passed with an 80. for the most part the questions were easy.

Congrats. I just started on DHV1. Any suggestions/tips on what to study? My mentor said I shouldn't waste a lot of time on this one as most students are saying its easy.

Dumb question, but did you have to take this test at a certiport center or does WGU proctor the MTA exams via web cam?

The MTA exams are meant to be extremely easy. They correlate somewhat to Comptia exams, but all reports I've heard are that they significantly easier.

I can't see anyone with experience needing to even study for the MTA exams.

i used the book read through once. for the most part it's common sense. know who to pair a blue tooth device. i also got the book by Tom Carpenter that was pretty good too. Skip Ucertify on this one. There is also a study guide on certiports website that was helpful

i took it at a testing center. they have to arrange everything ahead of time. you can't use a web cam for these.

make sure you book the exam a week before you are ready so you aren't waiting for it.. made that mistake on the first one i took.

i normally start the material and then book the exam within a day ot two of starting. gives me a week or so to learn the material

i have to disagree. yes they are easier and straightforward but why risk failing by not studying?

my routine has been to read the book once. practice test using ucertify or labsim then rereview the areas i'm weak on. so far i have passed three of these. Server is next.

Read the book in the COS. look at the certiport example questions. and you should be ok. They are not the easiest exam but one of if that makes sense. Server is a bit more difficult. I have Web Fundamentals up next and i hear that one is the hardest so we will see. Then just have Software and Database fundamentals and i will be done with certifications.
