    If you only have the one certification, and obtaining it was a learning process, you could add it under education. :)

    I had to go back and look at my resume to see how I had it laid out - I separated Education and IT Certifications. Like NetworkVeteran said, it could go under education though.

    PS: I'd pull my name and phone number off of internet posts in the future. Joe Blow, 123 Fake St., 888-555-1212, etc. Maybe that's just me.

    I would put it right up the top, that's the first thing that gets looked at. Some places will only look at the top half of the page, you've heard of the phrase everybody has got 15 minutes of fame, well with resumes I go with no more than 15 seconds.

    If you didn't impress in 15 seconds then there is a chance it's going in to the circular file. Some places are very quick to filter, they spend time on the good ones.

    Great job, and congrats! Working on my CCENT starting next week myself.

    In my resume I put my education section at the top, after the summary section. You will want to list your most current stuff first.
