CCENT question

Hey All, my quest is do I really need to take CCENT before I take CCNA? I have taken a CCNA course already but would it be beneficial to take ccent as well?

This question has been asked numerous times.. You can take the CCENT before part 2 or you can go the 1 exam route. -

The CCENT is a certification, not an exam. To earn the CCNA, you may take both the ICND1 (640-822) and ICND2 (640-816) exams, or just the composite CCNA (640-802) exam which covers material from both exams..icedpikachu wrote: »Hey All, my quest is do I really need to take CCENT before I take CCNA? I went the second route. Cisco's okay with that, for the composite costs twice as much!
