I’m trying to decide if I should look into using DHCP or NAT for my networking project.
I have two 1721 routers connected by serial.
I have 1 PC connected to each router through a crossover cable.
I will have one router connected to the internet. I believe I will have that router doing all the DHCP or NAT.
As for the second router I’m hoping it should be pretty straight forward, but I’m not sure.
The PC’s will be set to DHCP and both are able to get on the internet and talk to each other.
Does anyone have any ideas on material I could read and get a better grasp on this?

for DHCP i guess it depends. if you only have 1 pc attached to each router you could also go with static ips. setting up a dhcp service is not a big also - if you would like to try just go for it.And then, I started a blog ...
