Read some reviews on Amazon and they weren't too favorable as I'm deciding on which is the best book to use to pass the CCDA.

I always take those those reviews with a grain of salt.
The Diane Tiere (I am probably mis-spelling her last name) was great for 640-873 I can only assume it's just as good for 874.My Networking blog

Diane's book is great but also get Top Down network design. Its a great Cisco design book.

Between these 3 references that were mentioned ( Top Down network design-Designing for Cisco Internet work Solutions (DESGN) and Authorized CCDA Self-Study Guide Exam 640-864) which one is better to start?
