Hi All
I have just finished my MCTS – Win 7 Exam ( 70-680 & havenot received my Score report yet thanks to a Prometric big time mess up ) I Intend to move toward MS Server Certifications next .
My Current role is an IT Support / Helpdesk role and I would like to move in to Server Technologies . I have completed my 290 ,270 ( XP ) & 680 ( Windows 7 ) exam. ( this leaves me one exam = “the Beast – 70-291- short of my MCSA ) .
The dilemma I have here is it worth going for the 291 to complete my MCSA 2003 or shall I go on with the MCITP : Server Administration Cert Track.?
Which of these above would be the next logical step for me to pursue and also would make me more marketable in the job market – Advice needed please

Nobylspoon Member Posts: 620 ■■■□□□□□□□I think the question should be mcitp:sa or mcsa 08 ?
Currently they are equal. You gain both MCITP:SA and MCSA 2008 for completing 70-640,642,646.WGU PROGRESS

Dr IT Member Posts: 351 ■■■■□□□□□□Well Thanks for the Input Guys i can understand the logic behind goiong for the 2008 Exams and think that is the better options for someone like me ( but i would still love to have the MCSA ( SA= Server Administrator ) in my resume rather than the MCSA 2008 ( SA= Solutions Associate )Venturing in to the Unknown
