Does SDM work with GNS3?

Does anyone know if SDM works with GNS3? I have tried but get an error about IO. It works all the way to the very end before starting. IOS version 12.4 on 2621XM.

    Yes SDM works with GNS3. Not sure about your particular error though.

    Yup, I trained for one of my Cisco security exams using SDM n GNS3. SDM is a pain because it's very picky about which Java version you have installed. Remember to downgrade your copy of Java to whatever specific version SDM requests. All the issues I had getting it running initially turned out to be pure SDM issues and not SDM/GNS3 integration issues.

    I can 2nd that, too. I had problems with my SDM with nothing appearing or it just wouldn't connect at all. I thought I was just being a newb and had my configuration wrong. Turns out it was a Java problem.

    I don't know what's going on but it just started workingicon_lol.gif I didn't even change any configuration. I even have the latest Java and Mozilla Firefox.

    Well, I did reinstall SDM. Maybe that. :D
