70-647...please help!!

I have fallen victim to 70-647 as many other have also. I took the exam yesterday and failed it with a 567, which is really bad. I have been taking exams since 2000 and I failed my first exam for rushing and took it again the next day and passed. Since 2000 I have gone through NT, 2000, 2003....etc and I have not failed an exam since until now. I studied for this exam and felt like I was decently prepared. I have been watching the CBT Nuggets videos and I was taking the Transcenders and scoring high on them. That is my usual method of preparation for the tests, but I guess it just did not work for this test. The sad part is I am a Sys Admin and work on this technology on a daily basis. Can anyone please recommend some good solid study material for this test? I have been searching the internet and I cannot seem to find any good test preparation tools for this test. I need to go back and slaughter this test!!

Thank you,

John

I have failed this exam 2 times also. Now with the new MCSE and MCSA that was just released you dont need 647. I still want to pass it but wonder if the effort is worth it. I still need the Windows 7 exam to complete the EA.

I though the new MCSE and MCSA are fo the cloud based technologies and had no effect on the current MCITP-EA? Please explain the differences?

    Thanks,

The EA still will exist and is still valid, I am not one to just give up on an exam so easily either, I had to take a SQL design exam 4 time before I got a passing score. I was just thinking with SQL 2012 out and Windows Server 8 right around the corner, do I want to spend the money chasing the EA just to have to upgrade it to 8 when I get done. Knowing how I have answered that in the past I more than likley will be. I just wish I had a better idea of what area of the test I failed on was it the case studies or the ordinary mulitple choice section.
