Just got the email that I passed the VCAP5-DCD beta exam! Took it during VMware's Partner Exchange back in February. It was very similar to the version 4 exam, just with some version 5 items sprinkled in.

I'm hoping to defend for the VCDX sometime in the version 5 lifecycle. Ran out of time before the last version 4 defense.CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate -

I work for a VMware partner, so I have about 3 years of designing and implementing virtual infrastructures for small and medium businesses. Just as a guess, I've been part of about 25 or so rollouts.CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate
