passed net+ today
Passed 005 with 847 this morning.
Didn't read any books as I'm pretty familiar with networking, but did use Darril Gibson (kindle) Net+ practice test questions, practice tests on TE and Comptia's practice exams; Darril's and TE practice tests were great resource, comptia's were much harder than the actual exam. Also read a lot of posts from the TE forums, which definitely kept me focused and motivated!
Not sure what's next..already passed Sec+, I seemed to have done them backwards. SSCP maybe?

Are you currently employed in IT?
Yes..I've been in the IT field for 13 years and currently hold an IT management position. Security has always been my calling and interest, not certain how to get into it without moving backwards career-wise. -
