There are a few hotspot questions. I didn't get any q's on Direct Access either, yours may vary. It was easy IMO. Good Luck.

Just left the test center and failed the exam with a 682 guys...so frustrated with that score... One or two questions off, it's like a big middle finger that's how much it bothers me. If I could show you guys my score report right now I would because it's hard to believe it looked like I failed

Another thing too is that I would be at a level where I wouldn't fail a client exam especially this exam, I studied a lot for a long time. It's disheartening for me to come back and take it again... Its like all that confidence I did have has been demolished. I will take it again just don't know when now

Sorry long post just kinda venting.

Hard luck, it's a tough exam.

When I fail an exam, there was usually a topic that I got hit with that added up to a fail. You will always get some 50-50 questions but usually something you don't work with or haven't labbed enough will get you. You were probably 2 questions off, go back over stuff (especially deployment if you haven't got that down) and reschedule for 1/2 weeks away.

    Good luck with the re-test.

Some of these client exams are harder to pass than some of the server exams.
I have first-hand exam experience of this fact icon_sad.gif

Get back on the horse, swot up on your weakest areas, re-book the test and give 'em hell.

Actually deployment was one of my stronger parts (probably the strongest by knowledge)...I was most comfortable with deployment scenarios because I use them in my current work experience. The Backup and Recovery section was the lowest bar set as I probably screwed up on a few questions pertaining to previous versions/shadow copy now that I think about it. The perfect bar (100%) on my score report was "Configuring mobile computing"...everything was else was a tick below

    You'll get it next time.

I've been reading the crap out of Windows 7 Inside and Out at work. I'm going to start reading the press book now at home.

Its a tough exam, I passed with a 700. You missed it by 1 question with the 682 score. You'll pass next time.

    Good Luck!!

Sorry to hear. You are about 1 question away. You'll nail it the next time.

The strangest part of studying this exam is that some pieces are simple I have it completely locked down and others are completely foreign. I've never experienced this studying for an exam.

I took the test Friday, and failed also. What a horrible test. Gonna pass it next time.

How many questions are on the test? I am currently taking a course to get ready for this exam. I am using the Microsoft Configuring Windows 7 book.

Typically I think most people get the 50 question exam test but I heard some people get an 80 question exam. I got the 50 question exam one.

I didn't get offered 2 for 1. I must have missed it by a few days. It's extremely easy to answer wrong on questions you know. You may miss a key word or phrase that would normally eliminate answers or not notice a fake switch or an answer that is correct but not for that question. If you notice they say things like in the quickest time possible which may not be the best or most logical solution. Fatigue and the clock are not your friends on this exam. Good luck and make sure you are rested.

Sorry to hear you didn't pass. Just keep in mind there is no such thing as failure, there are only results. Get back on the horse and try again.

Well guys I just came from the test center....and w/ good news this time I PASSED!!!!! =) 820/1000!!! Pretty good score for this exam if you ask me. I again got the 50 question w/ the multi-answer for one question combo for some of the questions. I went to a different test center and the look of the test was different from the traditional look of it, instead of like a off white border from what I was used to seeing it had a dark blue border. the drag and drop questions also appeared different as well as a the "screenshot" looking ones (when actually selecting it showed a green check mark, usually it would be highlighted in yellow)....just a few differences I noticed, not neccessarily a bad thing...kind of liked the changed

I AM SO RELIEVED to get this test under me and move forward, I was honestly thinking of moving forward w/o this test if I failed AGAIN! These tests arent free to me so only talking from a financial standpoint. I would like to thank ALL of you guys for trying to keep my head up with the positive comments! It really helped during the gap when I was re-studying. So I appreciate the confidence boost from you guys. Hopefully those who are still struggling with this exam I could help in any way with tips.
