IT vs Other Fields

I've spent the majority of my work life in IT. I'd like to hear from people who have worked in other fields. How do those fields compare to IT in terms of things you value (pay, benefits, office relations, ease of obtaining work, etc.)? I doubt I'd leave IT, but I think the future holds more demanding clients and difficulty obtaining desirable benefits.
