Show Port-Security int ?/?

Hi All,

Scenario - I have a switch interface thats up at both L1 and L2 with no port security enabled. Lets call it F0/2.

When I use the command - "show port-security interface f0/2" I get the following. Most of it I expect as PS is not configured on the port, but the Port Status is showing as Secure-down, when I know the port is clearly up. I take it the Port Status is not taking it's info from the live port, and only does when Port Security is enabled?

I believe it always says Secure-down when port-security is disabled.

Absolutely correct. Issue the 'switchport port-security' command to turn it on.

Not a problem. When I first started port-security I always forgot to turn it on.
