Anyone hear when VMWare is going to come out with a OSX VCenter client?

It's taken them forever. They already have a VMWare view client but why not VCenter?

Because there's not enough demand for it and the dev resources would be better used elsewhere? You've already got a Windows server to run vCenter Server, you could RDP to it and run the vCenter client. Or Thinapp the Windows version and run it from your view desktop. -
scott28tt Member Posts: 686 ■■■■■□□□□□The View Client is for users rather than administrators, so there would be sufficient demand for a Mac-based client. You can already manage VMs using the vSphere Web Client - Firefox is one of the supported browsers. VMware do seem to be making a greater shift towards browser-based administration, I would expect to see a more feature-rich Web Client for vSphere in the future...VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012
