I read in Todd Lammle CCNA study guide as "Switches that are in VTP client mode will only learn about and pass along VTP information—that’s it!"

Now I have a doubt : Do the client switches create vtp periodic updates?

(I posted the same in other popular forums also)

Well, go to the source. According to Cisco, VTP Clients behave the same way as VTP servers,with the sole exception that you cannot modify vlan information on a client (add, delete, or edit vlan)

If you have doubts, lab it out and watch some debugs.
