I've just passed this exam. I'd say it was pretty tough, and time was a factor for me but I'm pleased with the result. Hands on experience was the real key - be sure to read the VMware documentation. I also thought Scott Lowes 'Mastering vSphere5' was very useful too.

Good luck to anyone else taking this soon.

Not sure what to do next, I'm sure something will come to me in a few weeks time but for now, it's beer time :)

    Go for VCP5-DT. That's what I'm doing while waiting for VCAP5 to release.

    Nadzz, try Amazon etc - I'll be using my copy to brushup on a few things and it'll be used for future reference.

    Thanks for the congrats all. I'm still no clearer on what to aim for next, though I've got my PDR next week and I expect the boss will have some ideas.

    P.S. Ess, the beers last night were a very bad idea. I'm just about feeling human now (at 8pm the day after....getting too old ).
