What does everyone think on the CCNA 1 test vs the 2 test version. Is it worth going 2 tests, is it much harder?

Both approaches require the same level of knowledge. The two-test approach makes the most sense if you're going to need 2+ months to pass your CCNA--it gives you a nice milestone in the middle.

Other factors which may affect your decision:
    (a) how confident you are of passing
    (b) how difficult it is for you to get to a testing center during a weekday
    (c) whether obtaining the CCENT carries any tangible advantages

For me, only the one-exam approach made sense.

In my opinion the 1 test is harder because you have to know EVERYTHING, where as on the 2 test it is split. Now, if you have experience with cisco products then the 1 test maybe where its at. For someone like me (no work experience just home lab experience) the 2 test is a good choice.

EDIT: Me and NetworkVeteran posted at the same time, and I agree with him.
