need help on deployment of win 7

first of all hello to all
i am preparing for MCTS 70-680 (Win 7 configuration exam)
for doing labs i am using VMware workstation 7.
every thing is going OK but when i try to use the imagex from the cd/dvd drive(with Windows PE disk) to destination computer for applying the captured image . i got error the system cannot find the drive specified.

the command i use is like that :
x:\e:\imagex.exe /apply f:\capturedimage.wim 1 c:

what i am doing wrong here, can some body pls help me on this.

did you disk part the new drive yet and assign the letter c? But also if you did diskpart and set partitions, it might have made the d: drive the "windows" drive

also is the drive it cant find the f drive? You may need to setup the net use on to f:

Yeah I did the diskpart and when I try to assign letter d, then i got msg that use other letter is already been used so that's why i give the letter f to second partition and letter c to first partition. For study sources I am using Microsoft training not so I am following that book. And I think the drive e, which has the win PE disk is inaccessible.

I use the net use command on drive f and copy the captured wimfile to drive f for deployment via shared folder.

morning to all
somehow i manage to solve the problem that i stated earlier
the solution is that the destination computer assign drive letter d to cd/dvd drive

so i use the command as following
x:\d:\imagex.exe /apply f:\capturedimage.wim 1 c:

it applied that image

and when i try to copy the boot file using command
x:\c:\windows\system32\bcdboot c:\windows

i got msg that
Failure when attempting to copy boot files

can any body pls help on this.
