it experience

I am just getting into the IT field. i would like to know what the merit of my current experience is, what kind of a building block it is and how would it help to get higher jobs.
I am currently an IT Clincal Coordinator at a hospital. My function is provide in house support for the electronic medical record. what i do is help end users navigate the system, assist them in modification of their user profile on the emr, help show them where to find things in the emr and i also do some training for end users. i also document and submit requests for changes to the emr system to the build team. additionally, i am occasionally on call to respond to any issues that an end user may have. this may include forwarding the issue to the emr technical team and build staff.
i am thinking of going for a masters in CIS
what input would you have?

What is your education background, do you have a bachelor's already? Do you have any certs? What is it you are looking to get into? It sounds like you have system admin experience at least, before you go for a master's you should have a general goal I think, other than just getting a higher IT job. You should determine if you want to be more technical, managerial, or project management. -

i actually have 3 degrees, 2 non-IT bachelor degrees and an AAS in internet and lan security. i would say that i am leaning toward the technical to management side of things. i would think my area would be information systems/security. I have the A+ cert but i plan to add more.
