Pre Test Nervousness [Passed]

Ive been studying for a month or so and just found your site tonight. Before coming here, I definitely thought I was ready, but now....

Ive been using the selftestsoftware and scoring in the high 90 percentiles. I have used these tests to pass my CLP app dev and A+ exams. Ive read Mike Meyers Net+ passport and have taken the practice exams here (high 80's) and scored a 78 on all 200 questions on the mcmse site. I was pretty whupped when i took that one. My test is scheduled for Monday and it is too late to postpone it. I have another full day of preparation ahead of me. Can anyone offer any suggestions for a last minute cram.

I suggest going over my Network+ TechNotes, should be doable to read them all before Monday and you can always skip the parts you are already very familiar with.

Yea what he said. I brought those technotes with me to the exam place and studied them in my car for an hour before the test and didn't regret it. My best advice would be to focus on TCP/IP. Try to remember the output from commands like netstat, nslookup and ipconfig. Also be sharp on cables and tcp/ip ports. Best of luck to you.

Thanks, Ive read through the parts of the tech notes that worried me, and have taken the exams another time since then. I am feeling a bit more confident, altho still nervous. Thanks for your replies.

I'll let you know the outcome tommorrow.

It would be a good idea to really know the OSI layers as well.

But don't worry so much. I took the beta with two and a half weeks to study and passed. It's hard but not as hard as you probably are expecting it to be.
