Hello,
I have been following these forums for a while now but have not made any comments on here until now. I have found many of the tips on here very useful to studying for the switch exam. I used the Implemeting Ciscp Ip switched networks. I would say that doing labs is essential to pass the exam. Make sure you understand how each conecpt work but in conjuction with everything else. Also the book is not to be your only source of info since in some areas its lacking. I was able to pass the exam in about 1 month of study now I will concentrate on passing routing. It is also helpful if you have some experience. Thanks to all for the good posts on here.
Cheers
