Job interview for systems engineer.

I had my first interview for a technical position today, which was systems engineer.

I know it was a long shot but the experience of the interview was amazing.

The interviewer really drilled the living crap out of my brain, starting with the question "what's a hub"

Asked what a switch does and I asked "layer two or three".

It went all around networking, in and out, and I felt like a natural blurting it all out. When I said something technical, like "broadcast domain", he would ask me what it was. It was pretty cool actually and can be nerve wracking.
He said the only thing holding me back is experience. Said I did very well with the knowledge drills and troubleshooting over the phone.

I need to start looking for evening and weekend internships.

Hopefully a network technician position opens up soon, that's the entry level here.

And I realize some of my spelling and grammar is wrong but I'm sitting here on an iPad and the website seems a little slow.
