Our test has 50 to 80 questions. I have recently taken it and failed for the second time also. This is a very challenging test!

I have from my personal experience found that most MS Exams have some questions related to other technologies, as in for 70-640 a few questions related to Network Infra or Application Infra and even Exchange. This was the same in 70-642. I am guessing but it may be best to check out related technologies like AD/DHCP/DNS/Branch Cache/Direct Access/VPN etc which may not be in scope of 70-680 but questions related to it can still be asked. I was tempted to give 70-680 first as I was very comfortable with Win 7 however, after going through a few forums realized that its easier to take the well trodden path 70-640/70-642/70-643 and then 70-680

I did a bunch of practice (lab, lab, lab) at home and at work with the deployment objectives as the last bit of studying I did for the exam.

    Capture a system image.
This objective may include but is not limited to: preparing system for capture; creating a WIM file; automated capture; manual capture
Prepare a system image for deployment.
This objective may include but is not limited to: inserting an application into a system image; inserting a driver into a system image; inserting an update into a system image; configuring tasks to run after deployment
    Deploy a system image.
This objective may include but is not limited to: automated deployment methods; manually deploying a customized image
    Configure a VHD.
This objective may include but is not limited to: creating, deploying, booting, mounting, and updating VHDs; offline updates; offline servicing

If I hadn't been supporting Windows 7 on a daily basis and done those labs I would have failed. Actually I still felt like I may have gotten a bit lucky when I passed that exam.

are there any guides on what to do, maybe a study guid or something.

I think maybe my problem is that i am to nervous, and i dont understand all the hard words in English.

Read a lot and Setup a virtualized lab at home 1 server and 1/2 windows machine. Try having cbtnuggets(youtube) videos or itfreetraining(youtube) videos.

I would recommen you to Set up a Lab ( as suggested by others ) and also make sure you have the right books as a second books always helps and covers the topic if left out by your primary book

Being nervous is natural - I still feel like this before an exam and I've been doing them for years now.

I would say this is perhaps your biggest problem.

I'm guessing the selected language of the exam is US English? (I just quickly checked on Prometric's site and don’t see a Norwegian option). Therefore, talking a technical exam must be much harder with English being a second language - so scoring a 625/550 is still a very good achievement.

The only thing I can say before you attempt the real exam again is to use practice test software such as the Microsoft Press Training Kit Exam and look up any words you don't know the meaning of while looking at the questions & answers.

Get the Poulton book. This book combined with the Prof. Messer videos should be all you need to pass. Make sure you are doing LOTS of labs too.
