Grade - GS7 (they also have a posting for a GS9) - You need a Masters, some years of experience, a combo of those two, or you can use SAA (Superior Academic Achievement) which basically requires a 3.0 GPA for your Bachelors in the last two years in school.
Security Clearance: You must be able to get a Secret clearance
Job: I have a friend who does this as a contractor for the military, it's basically a lot of policy and not a ton of hands on. But you'll get to travel and it should open doors to either promotions or other positions within the government.
Pay: $45872 + about 9000k for locality pay
