Odd https behavior from my router-- ideas?

Cisco 2610XM, maxed to 256MB for CCNA Security, running latest (so far as I can tell) Adv IP Services.

If I fire up SDM and pick https:, the silly thing reboots. IP secure-server is enabled in the config.

Ideas? Just added this memory (was 96MB before) and it had same behavior before the upgrade.

AdvIPServices only requires 128/32. If you have 256 then you're running paired 128's. Have you tried each 128 stick alone? Does "show c2600" report the memory correctly? I have 2 2620xm's that have 192mb each (a 128 and a 64). Neither of mine reboot themselves like that.

Memory reports correctly. As I noted, I actually had the same behavior before I upgraded the memory.

I probably should try SSH to see if it works. If SSH causes the same behavior, it would be something wrong with the router.

Doesn't seem like it would actually be a huge deal if I can't access the router with https for SDM-- important thing is that I can use SDM at all, and that I can get to the IPS/NAC services OK. It's just annoying to have this weird stuff happening, as it takes like three minutes for the router to reboot, even with the extra memory.

You'll also need zone-based firewalls (zbf) for security and its not in the advanced ip ios. I'm scheduled to take the 640-553 on the 12th. I have access to a couple of test suites (one through work and its terrible) and purchased Boson. Both have a number of question related to zbf -- don't know how accurately that's reflected on the actual exam though.
    - Good luck

Have you tried a different IOS? I remembering seeing a bug about reloading on https requests though I don't have the number to look at the affected versions.

@spd-- thanks for the reminder. I hadn't thought much about that, but I figured I would cover everything else I could first before worrying about anything not in the advip. We'll see what the practice exams tell me once I finish reading, and for anything else I imagine Google will be my friend. :D

@networker-- good to know this is a known issue, and that it's not completely out of left field. I'd have hated to buy another router because of this (although I'd likely keep this one to pair with another). This is another issue where Google will likely prove useful.
